Julia Busenitz is a California-based textile designer specializing in print, pattern development, and natural color exploration.

A graduate of California College of the Arts, Julia combines traditional textile techniques with contemporary sensibility. Her work is informed by botanical research, herbal education, and an ongoing study of natural dye processes.

Through her studio, Luca Jackson, she develops textiles and home goods that balance refined structure with organic movement—creating pieces that feel at once modern and elemental.

In addition to her studio practice, Julia collaborates with wellness and lifestyle brands on product design, visual storytelling, and material development. Her work has been featured on DesignSponge, DesignLoveFest, and Farmacopia.
