I recently did a collaboration with Stella fluorescent to create designs for hand printed and dyed silk scarves. The scarves were printed in ink, and over dyed with cochineal in my backyard. Check out their site and all of the other beautiful things they make.
I've been revisiting some old themes of mine and enjoying staying fully hands on in the studio.
Another exciting print day here in the tiny studio. Printing ink on grey linen for the napkin line.
Have some hand printed, hand sewn napkins in the works. They will be available by the new year.

Anthropologie has launched a project called "made in kind" where they collaborate with emerging artists and designers to create limited edition designs. My lovely friend Mia Christopher's collection for Anthroplogie just launched, and it's pretty fantastic.
We've been spending a lot of time on the road and in the air as of late- and it's been so nice to get out of San Francisco and feel real summer, and to enjoy the madness and fun of traveling with two wild boys, but it's left me with very little studio time. Today I got to sneak back there for a bit and it felt so good to get back into a mini groove.

A friend of mine up in my hometown, Sebastopol, is working to bring Alpacas to her farm as a boost to the local fiber community. Check out Noelle's sweet video about her Alpaca mission. [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hn-F4-BUUQo&w=560&h=315]
This little bowl will be made out of glass (hopefully) in the next few weeks.
